Unwritten Rule of Monopoly

10/7/11

Players usually chose to be Pocket Lint over the Thimble.
Playing the board game Monopoly is the only excuse for a person to use such phrases as “I won a beauty contest and get to collect $10” and “I’d like to put a hotel on Marvin Gardens.”  It’s also an easy way to waste 4 hours and make your loved ones instantly hate you.  The rules declare the winner of Monopoly as the player left holding all the money after driving everyone else bankrupt (see: China, for example).  No matter how heated a game of Monopoly might get, there remains one thing that all players can agree on—no one wants to be the thimble.
