There is one phrase that strikes fear into the hearts of
people young and old. Sometimes is used
in the home by an unhappy parent, but generally this phrase is reserved for the
workplace. The phrase is: “It has come
to my attention.” Whenever someone begins
a conversation using those words, rest assured that you’re screwed. No one ever says, “It has come to my
attention that blueberries are a delicious treat.” Instead, topics such as your shoddy job
performance, your tardiness, or your paper towel thievery are discussed.
